I hope you will join me in the Winter Warmth Project. "Stitching lives together one quilt at a time." The Project is a personal response to Hurricane Irene. I have asked the Vermont Quilt Guilds, Vermont quilt shops and my quilting friends to consider donating twin and queen sized quilts, quilt tops, batting, and quilting labor to the Project. Winter began for many Vermonters on August 28 when Irene roared through Vermont. If we work together, perhaps we can reach the goal of a new quilt for every person whose home and belongings were lost in the flooding. Please consider helping.

On a completely different note "Vas-Y" took 1st Place in the Art Quilts - Miniature category at Houston's International Quilt Festival, A World of Beauty.
